Spicy Cajun Salsa Burgers
Ingredients:

- 5 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeo, finely chopped
Instructions:
Ground beef, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, egg, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a large bowl
Mix everything together well
Make burger patties out of the four equal parts of the mixture
Warm up the grill over medium-high heat
Grill the burger patties for four to five minutes on each side, or until theyre done the way you like them
Add pepper jack cheese to top of each patty and close the lid for the last minute of cooking to melt the cheese
Grill the burgers while you make the spicy Cajun salsa
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, cilantro, and jalapeo
For one to two minutes, until theyre just barely golden, toast the burger buns on the grill
Put a patty on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers
Add lettuce, tomato slices, and a big scoop of spicy Cajun salsa on top
Put the other half of the bun on top, and if you need to, use a toothpick to hold it in place
The Spicy Cajun Salsa Burgers are best when they are hot
