Pepper Jelly Glazed Salmon
This Pepper Jelly Glazed Salmon recipe combines the rich flavor of salmon with a sweet and spicy glaze made from pepper jelly, soy sauce, and aromatic seasonings. Its a quick and easy dish thats perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining guests.
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup pepper jelly
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Green onions, thinly sliced for garnish
Instructions:
Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C
Add salt and black pepper to the salmon fillets
Pepper jelly, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger should all be mixed together in a small saucepan
It will take about 34 minutes of cooking over medium heat until the jelly melts and the mixture is smooth
A skillet that can go in the oven should have olive oil in it
Let the salmon fillets cook for two minutes on each side
Spread the pepper jelly glaze on top of the salmon fillets
Place the skillet in an oven that has already been heated up
Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked and flaky when a fork is used to test it
Before serving, top with sliced green onions
