Savory Sausage Surprise Ice Cream

Ingredients:

• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup whole milk
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 4 cooked sausage links, finely chopped
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• Pinch of salt

Instructions:

Heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract should all be mixed together in a saucepan

Stir the mixture all the time while heating it over medium-low heat until the sugar is gone and its hot but not boiling

Take it off the heat and let it cool down a bit

Add the chopped sausage, maple syrup, and salt, and mix them in

Put the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it according to the machines instructions until its the consistency of soft serve

Put the ice cream in a container and freeze it for at least two hours before you serve it
