Mediterranean Merlot Pairing
Enjoy the tastes of the Mediterranean with this wonderful Merlot pairing. Merlots rich, fruity notes go well with the salty olives, sour sun-dried tomatoes, and creamy feta cheese. When you mix these things together, you get a wonderful sensory experience that will take you to the sunny shores of the Mediterranean.
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle of Merlot wine
- 1 cup of kalamata olives
- 1/2 cup of sun-dried tomatoes
- 4 ounces of feta cheese
- 1 loaf of crusty bread
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cut the crusty bread into small pieces that you can easily eat
Put the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl
Mix them together to make a dipping sauce
